Results and Value

What is a new camper worth compared with what CampAds costs?

Every enrolled camper is a season of tuition, and many campers come back summer after summer. That's the number to consider next to our fee.

The Summer Camp Launchpad is $4,000 a month for three months. For a camp charging $4,000 per camper, three enrolled campers cover the full fee, and every camper after that is return on the investment. The account, ads, and tracking we build also stay with you, so they keep working after the engagement ends.

How do you estimate potential enrollment?

We use one method consistently. First, leads: Where leads can be verified (a form submission with contact details, a phone call from an ad, or a website inquiry), we use the actual count. Where an account's tracked conversions can't be verified one by one, we count 70% of them as genuine inquiries.

Next, we assume 15% to 40% of those inquiries enroll. Then we multiply by the camp's own tuition, taken from its website, using its longest standard session. We show the result as an up-to figure (the 40% end of the range) and list the low end next to it wherever space allows.

For example, 25 verified leads at $16,750 tuition project to an estimated 4 to 10 enrolled campers, or up to $167,500 in potential enrollment. It is an estimate of what the leads could be worth, not revenue anyone has earned. Actual enrollment depends on each camp's follow-up, and we update our figures as new data comes in.

How fast will we see results?

Once your account is live, most camps start seeing results within three to four weeks, often sooner. Setup (access, research, and the build) takes the first two weeks.

Families start searching for camps in earnest in October, and interest runs through spring into early summer. An account built in the fall is ready for the busiest months.

Why CampAds

Why hire CampAds instead of running Google Ads ourselves?

You can absolutely run it yourselves, and we're happy to teach you. What we bring is speed, context, and experience. Our team has more than 20,000 combined hours in Google Ads, so we don't have to research every step along the way.

We already have account structures built for camps, we know the Ad Grant's compliance rules, and we know how camp families search. That means a working account in weeks rather than a season of trial and error. All while you stay focused on running camp.

Do we have to keep paying you after the Launchpad?

No. The Launchpad is three months. After that, you can run the account yourselves with our handoff document and training. Or, keep us on month-to-month from $1,500 a month. You can cancel anytime with 14 days' notice. The monthly service is never a condition of the Launchpad.

Do you run Facebook or Instagram ads?

No. Currently, we only work in Google's ecosystem. That's where families are actively searching for a camp and usually with much higher intent. That focus also allows us to better track leads back to the campaigns and ads that are actually performing.

Pricing and Ad Spend

What does CampAds cost?

Every camp starts with the Summer Camp Launchpad: $4,000 a month for a three-month engagement. It covers the account audit or setup, the rebuild, new ad copy, conversion tracking, and three months of active management with reporting.

After month three, ongoing management is optional, starting at $1,500 a month.

Is ad spend included in your fee?

Ad spend is separate from our fee. For nonprofit camps on the Google Ad Grant, Google funds up to $10,000 a month of advertising, so the camp pays nothing for that ad spend.

For paid accounts, Google bills your ad budget directly to your payment method, with no markup from us and no money passing through CampAds. A paid budget doesn't have to be large: One for-profit camp we manage earned 42 leads in two months on about $800 in ad spend.

Account Ownership and Access

Who owns the Google Ads account?

You do. The account stays in your camp's name, and Google bills you directly. We work in it through our manager account, with access you grant and can remove at any time. The campaigns, ad copy, and tracking we build stay with you whether or not you keep working with us.

What access do you need from us?

Admin access to your Google Ads account (we send a link request from our manager account), access to Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and a way to make small website changes, usually through your web developer.

If you don't have these yet, we set them up with you. If a past volunteer or agency set up an account nobody can sign in to, there is usually a recovery path, and we'll walk through it together.

Tracking and Reporting

How do you track leads?

We set up conversion tracking with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager, so every form submission and call from an ad is counted. Leads from Google's own lead forms can be emailed to your inbox the moment they come in.

We count conversions as leads only when a family shares contact details or calls you directly. A click on a registration button is a useful signal, but it is not a lead.

Can you track actual enrollments?

With coordination from your camp and registration platform, yes. It's possible. But this depends on what your registration platform supports. The usual paths are (1) a Google Analytics (GA4) connection from the registration platform, (2) a redirect to a confirmation page on your own site after someone registers, or (3) a click ID saved with each registration and sent back to Google Ads. We'll review your setup and use whichever one works best.

How will we know how the ads are doing?

Through a private client hub on our site. You get a progress report after the first month, a performance report after the second, and a final performance report at the end of the Launchpad covering what was built, what changed, and the results.

Where will our ads appear?

Across Google: Search, YouTube, Gmail, Google Maps, Discover, and AI Overviews in search results. We use your camp's own photos and video, so the ads look like your camp.
